With the evening light playing in ash colour clouds, birds enjoying their flight, leisure and drift, tree branches swaying in the summer wind, somewhat smaller and centrally located Ottawa’s Westboro Beach wears unique gentle and soothing smiles across its banks and the sky as well in order to welcome all the visitors as its seemingly invited guests.
Visitors come to the beach to relish in its beauty and refresh themselves in its pure air, atmosphere, and water. Some love to bike on the streets adjacent to it. Wild birds such as geese, mallards, seagulls, etc. feed on its insects and fish, and love to play and sunbath on its water.
Seagulls seem to be flying all the time to catch fish in the middle of the beach, where there lies an apparent island. Some impressive makeshift stone sculptures have been made in different shapes, which draw your eyes at first view of the beach.
As a whole, the beach is a must-visit place, so if you have not visited it yet, do not worry at all. You can first preview the scene and scenery of the beautiful beach in the short video provided below, and then make up your mind to visit.
