Less Trampled Ways…
by Shahinur Islam
Less trampled ways have more hassles. As they are trodden by very few people, they are hazardous and threatening to life. But these paths are amenable to success in an easier way than those ones traveled frequently. Here the contest is with oneself, with the people not participating in it. That is, however, riskier and more likely to be taunted if failure occurs. But if successful, one is remembered for ever with great pride and admiration.
Nevertheless, people usually prefer the more trodden ways to less ones, because they feel, and usually it is, that it is easier to pass the path usually frequented. Moreover, it takes much courage, intelligence and stamina. As most of the people tend to be conservative and superstitious, they don’t dare come out of the cocoon, are not susceptible to novelty and innovation. They only can marvel at the hero’s exploits and escapades, success, and infallibility. Success achieved this way is success remembered for ever.
The path is never easy in anyway as there is no light giver, no lighthouse to lead you to the end of the route. You have to make a new route with your light; you will be a light giver.
